The company seeks state approval of a $520 million liquefied natural gas receiving, storage and send-out terminal at Bradwood, in east Clatsop County. The filing represents the first step in Oregon’s energy facility siting process.

In a letter sent by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to the National Marine Fisheries Service, the formal consultation between the two agencies on Bradwood Landing’s impacts to endangered species began effective December 8.
